On a cold, rainy night, the Bombers could not produce the necessary offense or sustain a rash of injuries well enough to hang with new Suburban League foe Revere in a tough 28-12 loss.

Kenston hung tough with the Minutemen in the first half, playing some tremendous special teams and riding the back of senior running back Will Hamm to a tight 7-6 score at the half.

Hamm rushed for over 100 yards in the first two frames and got the Bombers on the board with a 61-yard touchdown run in the second quarter. The optimism of being right in a road showdown heading into the second half fell aside quickly though as Revere's defense closed the running gaps and their offense exploded for 21 points in the third.

A second touchdown scamper by Hamm got Kenston within 28-12 but it was too little, too late as the Bomber faithful witnessed the likely fade of all hopes for a playoff spot.

The unequivocal leader on offense was Hamm who carried the ball 29 times for 149 yards and two touchdowns. On the defensive side Jake Rostocil tallied a remarkable 16 tackles, including 12 solo stops.

Punter Ethan Dennis also did everything in his power to keep Kenston in the game with three booming punts, two of which pinned Revere deep.

Barring some heavy twists of fate this week, a tremendously successful season considering all of the adversity faced, will come to a close on October 23 versus Barberton.
