FOOTBALL GAME ATTENDANCE EXPECTATIONS
The Kenston School District would like to share with you the expectations for students who attend football (both home and away) games for safety and supervision purposes. We appreciate your help as we implement these expectations and rules that ensure student and fan safety all while providing a positive experience for all those in attendance. Kenston Schools and the Board of Education will not be responsible for students who attend without an adult chaperone.
Students in Kindergarten through 3rd grade
· Students must be accompanied by an adult to enter the gate. Students trying to enter unaccompanied will not be able to enter.
· Students are expected to be in the stands with an adult watching the game.
· Parents are required to monitor their children and supervise them at all times.
· There will be no congregating or loitering of students under the bleachers, in the grassy area by the stands, along the sidelines, or near the concession stands. Failure to do this will result in the child being asked to sit with an adult.
Students in 4th through 7th grade
· Students must be accompanied by an adult to enter the gate. Students trying to enter unaccompanied will not be able to enter.
· Students must sit either in the 4th through 7th grade Middle Student School section or with an adult during the game.
· Students are expected to be in the stands watching the game.
· An adult chaperone must be present at the game.
· There will be no congregating or loitering of students under the bleachers, in the grassy area by the stands, along the sidelines, or near the concession stands. Failure to do this will result in the child being asked to sit with an adult.
Students in 8th through 12th grade
· Students will sit in the 8th – 12th grade Kenston Krazies High School Student Section
· Students are expected to be in the stands watching the game
· There will be no congregating or loitering of students under the bleachers, in the grassy area by the stands, along the sidelines, or near the concession stands. Failure to do this will result in the child being asked to leave.
General rules for all students
· Display good sportsmanship during the game including towards the visiting team and their fans.
· All student behavior is expected to be school-appropriate and align with our PEAK traits and Bomber Beliefs. This includes appropriate use of language and choices in behavior.
· Any student caught participating in actions deemed inappropriate by a staff member will be removed from the game and possibly not allowed at future games.
· All students are expected to leave the athletic complex after the completion of the game. Please make sure students have a ride arranged.
