The Kenston Athletics Department released its list of finalists for its annual OHSAA Awards which are given annually to outstanding senior Bomber student-athletes.

The program began releasing an expanded list of students drawing special consideration for these awards, presented to one boy and one girl in each category, respectively, during the 2024-25 academic year.

The National Federation of High Schools (NFHS) sponsors two awards each year to students that serve as positive role models and excellent leaders in the Bomber athletic community.

This year's finalists are:

Ethan Black
Andrew Fender
Josh Holtz
Grady Kucharson
Tommy Seifried

The OHSAA sponsors the Archie Griffin Sportsmanship Award, named for Ohio State’s two-time Heisman Trophy winner and ambassador of sporting behavior, to two students at each member school that exemplify not only excellence in athletic and academic performance, but the utmost sportsmanship, ethics, and integrity.

Awards for these and other senior athletic and academic excellence will be presented at a ceremony held in the KHS Robert A. Lee Auditorium on May 18.
