Cross Country and Track and Field Head Coach Chris Ickes was awarded with the OHSAA's Sportsmanship, Ethics, and Integrity Award at the 2026 OATCCC Awards Banquet.

According to the OATCCC site, "This award is exactly for the Coach that exhibits the three points that are in the title. Not ONLY must they exhibit sportsmanship, ethics, and integrity, they must through their example instill them in their athletes. The coaches success is not measured in wins or losses. But in their positive impact on their athletes."
