AMSTUTZ, BISCHOF ANNOUNCE SIGNING DAY COMMITMENTS

Amstutz, Bischof announce Signing Day commitments

Two Kenston Bombers announced their commitments to continue their academic and athletic careers at the next level on November 12.

Avari Amstutz has committed to attend Stony Brook University to play volleyball and Graysen Bischof will attend the University of Findlay to play baseball.

Amstutz was a four-year varsity starter and captain and an incredible all-around player who always found a way to make an impact on the court. She finished her career with 919 kills, 132 blocks, 719 digs and 100 aces - all of which placed her in the top 10 all-time in those categories.

Her accomplishments also include:
-2023: All-WRC, 3rd Team All-District
-2024: All-WRC, 1st Team All-District, 3rd Team All-Ohio
-2025: WRC Player of the Year, 1st Team All-District

Bischof has been a three-year varsity player as a catcher and utility player since his freshman campaign. Through 60 career games, he has batted .285 with one HR, 22 walks, 30 RBI, 26 runs, and 20 stolen bases with a fielding % of .938 – he is approaching top five status all-time in career walks, hits, doubles, RBI, runs, and stolen bases.

His accomplishments also include:
-2023: WRC Scholar-Athlete, District & State Champion team member
-2024: Team Captain, WRC Scholar-Athlete, All-WRC, News-Herald All-Star, District Champion team member
-2025: Team Captain, WRC Scholar-Athlete, News-Herald All-Star, All-District, District Champion team member
-Three-year varsity letter winner in golf
