Kenston defeated Avon Lake 3-1 at Holy Name High School to capture the District Championship.

The Bombers dropped the first set 20-25, but controlled the rest of the match, taking the next three sets by scores of 25-22, 25-23, 25-17.

It was the team's 11th District title in program history and first since 2023.

They will next face Aurora on October 30 at 6pm at Mentor High School in the Regional Semifinal.
