Kenston defeated Chardon 3-1 (20-25, 25-16, 25-19, 25-15) to clinch at least a share of the 2025 WRC title. Riverside has two matches remaining against Mayfield and Eastlake North. If they lose either of those matches, Kenston will win the championship outright.

The Bombers' regular season is now complete with a record of 15-7 (9-1 WRC) and they will host Harvey in the first round of the OHSAA playoffs on October 16. They will enter the postseason with a #16 Division III Maxpreps state ranking.
