Coach Hinkle began his second tenure as girls basketball head coach at Kenston High School during the 2022-23 academic year.

Hinkle was originally the head coach of Bomber Girls Basketball from 2007-2017, compiling a 146-78 record in that span.  His career record now stands at 190-125, following the 2025-26 season.  He is the winningest coach in program history.

Under his leadership, Kenston has won seven conference championships and played in three District Championship games.  

Hinkle received his bachelor's degree from the University of Mount Union where he competed as a golf student-athlete. He is a math teacher at Kenston High School and has also served as a coach in the sport of football.
