Coach Hinkle began his second tenure as girls basketball head coach at Kenston High School during the 2022-23 academic year.

Hinkle is the former head coach of Bomber Girls Basketball having served in that role from 2007-2017, compiling a 146-78 record in that span.  His career record now stands at 176-115, following the 2024-25 season.

Under his leadership, Kenston has won seven conference championships and played in three District Championship games.  

Hinkle received his bachelor's degree from the University of Mount Union where he competed as a golf student-athlete. He is a math teacher at Kenston High School and has also served as a coach in the sport of football.
