Reid Guarnieri
Mr. Guarnieri has
been the Athletic Director at Kenston High School since the 2017-18 academic year. During his tenure, the athletic program has produced two State Championships (Football 2018, Baseball 2023), two individual State Champions (Jenna Stretch, Bowling 2021 & Sofia Macias, Gymnastics 2025), two State Runner-up finishes (Gymnastics 2021, Girls Cross Country 2022), six Regional titles, 10 District titles, and 56 Conference Championships. Additionally, 108 student athletes have earned All-Ohio honors and 114 student-athletes have continued their playing careers in college. In 2025, he was elected to serve as Class AA Representative to the Northeast District Athletic Board of the OHSAA.
Prior to arriving at Kenston, he served as the Director of Athletics at the NCAA Division II institution Lake Erie College, as the Assistant Director of Athletics and professor of sports law at Notre Dame College, as the Compliance Assistant at Cleveland State University, as the Lead Supervisor in Guest Services and Ballpark Operations with the Cleveland Guardians, and as an attorney working with financial and governmental institutions.
He attended Bay High School in Bay Village, Ohio where he competed in cross country, basketball, and tennis.
He received both his bachelor of arts and juris doctorate degrees from Cleveland State University and lives with his family in Mentor, Ohio.
