Josh Jakacki

Coach Jakacki began his second tenure as boys basketball head coach at Kenston High School during the 2025-26 academic year.

Jakacki is the former head coach of Bomber Boys Basketball having served in that role from 2006-2014, compiling a 131-45 (.744) record in that span.  Under his leadership, Kenston won five conference championships and set a program record for wins in a season with 20 in 2012.  From 2014-2025, he compiled a record of 192-160 at Crestwood High School in Mantua.

He received his bachelor's degree from Hiram College where he competed as a soccer student-athlete.Josh joined the Kenston Athletic Department in 2024 and also works as a teacher at Kenston Middle School and has also served as a coach in the sports of boys basketball and track and field.

He received his bachelor's degree in elementary education from Hiram College where he competed as a basketball student-athlete and holds a master's of education from Marygrove College.
